Two Tools for WPS Cracking
Think that 38 character passphrase is keeping your WPA2 safe?
Think again.
Make sure you have WPS controlled DISABLED on your WAPS now!
The newest rave is WPS cracking. Here are links to the two tools out there.
Ostensibly, the idea is to crack the up to 8-digit WPS code and have the router HAND you the password back. So essentially, instead of having to defeat an arbitrary length key with an unknown keyspace, the hacker just settles down and bruteforces the 8 character, 10 key keyspace.
*ouch*
WPSCrack claimes to be a little faster.
Reaver has tools for finding WPS enabled WAPS's, etc.
